DEALERS AND PUBLIC BOTH ARE WELCOME

Fine Art Minerals is always interested in buying high quality minerals whether it’s entire mineral collections or individual specimens. We have purchased a lot of mineral collections since decades from all over the world. If you want to sell your fine or rare mineral collection, please contact us for estimates and advice.

We are ONLY interested in high-quality Minerals

We are looking for clean, undamaged, crystallized and lustrous mineral specimens identified with labels.
High quality minerals do NOT mean large specimens.
Our website is just a fraction of what we offer – we only sell up to a couple thousand dollars on our website, but our top customers range from thousands to tens of thousands. That’s why we showcase and sell the highest quality specimens at mineral shows worldwide. That’s what we’re focused on. Check out our shows & events page for more examples.

We do not buy rocks, polished stones, carvings, etc. We only buy high quality crystallized specimens for collectors and museums.

How it Works

If your collection is in the following countries: Japan, United States of America, Germany, Europe, Singapore or China, we will visit your premises and see your collection in person. We will evaluate the value of your collection and if a deal can be made, you will be paid immediately and we will pack up your collection and move it with us.

In order to expedite the wrapping process, we may request other Fine Art Minerals team members to join us to wrap a large collection.

We also buy collections by mail. Simply ship your collection, box by box, via the mail. As each box arrives, we will give you a call to talk about the price of the contents. If we can agree on a price, we will send you a payment via Paypal or check that same day. You can then prepare another box for shipment. If we can’t agree on the price, we will ship it back to you at our expense.

If you have a large, significant specimen that is worth more than $1000, please send us a photo, description, and price request via email ([email protected]) or call/WhatsApp us at +92-346-9191091.  If we are interested and accept your price request, it will be sent pending inspection of the specimens.

Don’t forget to keep all the location information because location or origin does impact the mineral’s price. For example, a tourmaline is worth $200 from Brazil, $400 from California and $1000 from Afghanistan. If you don’t have a location, you have to assume the lowest price.

When selling your minerals, be ready to respond to the following questions:

  • Where are you situated?
  • How many minerals do you have?
  • What size are they (in General)?
  • How much room do they take up in your house or premises?
  • Are they all labeled?
  • If they’re not labeled, do you have some kind of catalog or database that can help you identify each mineral?
  • Are they on display, loose, boxed, or mounted?
  • What dealers have you bought from?
  • What was the average purchase price?
  • Do you have an idea of how much you want for the whole collection?

Are you ready to sell your mineral collection?

Before you get in touch with us, please read the following carefully.

We only look for undamaged, well crystallized minerals – NOT rocks.

It is important to note that we receive hundreds of emails annually from individuals wishing to sell their items; however, we only purchase approximately 1% of the minerals shown to us.

After reading the information above and browsing our products and mineral show pages, please get in touch only if you believe you have high-quality specimens that we may be interested in.

All inquiries must be submitted by email or online form below

  1. Please provide us with a description and photographs of your collection via email.
  2. A member of our team will only contact you if we are interested in the collection.

It is recommended that you submit photographs along with your inquiry regarding the sale of your collection. Please contact Ghulam Mustafa at ([email protected]) or call/WhatsApp us at +92-346-9191091  with photos of what you deem to be your BEST specimens. Please indicate the sizes of the specimens, current location, the price you are seeking, and country of origin. You can also use our online form to submit your inquiry.

Once we’ve looked at the photos, if there’s something we’re interested in, we may want to come and see your collection face-to-face to provide a more precise assessment. We always maintain the highest level of confidentiality in our dealings – we’ve bought many collections where privacy was an issue and never disclosed those names.
